Guided Walks
The peak experience of the Thredbo summer is a guided trip to the top of Australia’s highest mountain, Mount Kosciuszko. The walk is a moderate 4-6 hour return journey in small groups with an expert guide. Make the most of the experience and sign up for one of the unforgettable sunrise walks. There are a number of walks that range from easy to strenuous and can be done independently or with a guide.

Kosciuszko Sunrise Guided Walk
Sundays from January through April
Transported to the top of the Kosciuszko Express chairlift, tread steadily under a canopy of stars with the notion that only you and a few like-minded friends are sharing this unique experience. Reach the summit just as the sun is rising and descend to a Champagne Breakfast at Eagles Nest restaurant before taking the chairlift down the mountain. The walk is a moderate standard suitable for all levels of fitness.
